  • Aprašymas: A characteristic example of the new wave of innovation in Greek cinema. Koundouros used classic motifs, such as illegality and wandering in the countryside, in combination with elements from Greek culture, starting with the inexhaustible treasures of ancient tragedy and the folk tradition. Three fugitives (Titos Vandis, Anestis Vlachos and Petros Fysoun) try, each for his own reasons, to escape getting caught by the gendarmerie. They are pursued, however, because one of them killed his brother over a piece of land; another was involved in the resistance, and the third one murdered the traitor who was responsible for the destruction of an entire village by the Nazis.
